The Puma MB.03 "Blue Hive" is a colorway of basketball star LaMelo Ball’s third signature shoe with Puma Basketball inspired by the Charlotte Hornets. The “Blue Hive” undoubtedly pays homage to the Hornets, the NBA team that drafted LaMelo Ball, as it features colors inspired by its uniforms. Specifically, the upper has a black engineered mesh build accented with claw marks in an Electric Peppermint tone. The eye-catching hue also appears on the speckling found on the midsole. Other details include “Melo” and “1 of 1” insignia painted in a deep crimson on the heel, and multi-color “Rare” branding on the tongue. Underfoot, a Nitro Foam-cushioned midsole provides the wearer with responsive comfort on or off the hardwood. Release date: February 23, 2024
