Developing a Syllogistic Calculus to Generate and Solve Categorical Syllogisms on an Automated Basis

This is the fifth of a Series of Articles that examine in detail the Categorical Syllogism of Classical Logic. The goal is to provide a summary of the principles of Classical Logic for use by anyone interested in logic, and particularly attorneys in the practice of law. In this fifth Article, we develop a set of rules for a Syllogistic Calculus based on Set Theory, that we can use to develop and solve Categorical Syllogisms on an automated basis.
